Jon Salmon specializes in due diligence and credit reviews, commercial mortgage analysis, capital planning, and portfolio stress-testing for Treliant’s bank and investor clients. Jon recently concluded a twenty-six year career with Wells Fargo and predecessor banks where he held senior management positions spanning mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, commercial real estate securitization, and regional and community banking. Jon executed transformational acquisition transactions in corporate development at Wells Fargo and First Interstate; he also served as First Interstate Bancorp Treasurer during the thrift crisis in the late ‘80s, built the Wells Fargo commercial mortgage-backed securitization (CMBS) business, and successfully restructured Wells Fargo’s CMBS servicing operations. Jon’s most recent accomplishment was creating and managing a successful new business that invested in capital securities issued by Wells Fargo regional and community bank customers.
