Senior Director
Jim Hermiston, Senior Director, is a seasoned executive who has held positions at regional, community and money center banks, spanning roles in corporate banking and relationship management to senior risk executive. Jim brings to Treliant clients his extensive experience in underwriting and credit risk management, which covered large corporate, middle market, small business and retail clients across national and international regions.
During his three decade career at JPMorgan Chase, Jim served as EVP and Chief Credit Officer for a national bank subsidiary, SVP and Senior Credit Executive for the indirect auto finance subsidiary, Managing Director of Global Risk Assessment, and Managing Director of Portfolio Risk Review. Functional roles were in new business development, relationship management, loan review, loan loss forecasting, assessing adequacy of allowance for loan and lease losses, all aspects of credit administration, portfolio management and development of policies and procedures. Jim was a member of the Credit Risk Management and Credit Risk Policy Committees for JPM’s parent organization, Directors Risk Policy and Asset/Liability Committees for the bank subsidiary and Fair Lending Officer for the auto subsidiary.
Jim has been an instructor for the American Institute of Banking and was co-founder /senior risk executive for JPM’s “Risk University”. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Lehigh University.
