Fred Finke

Fred Finke brings a broad background in regulated bank supervision to clients, across the entire spectrum of community, regional, and multinational banks. Having just retired after 36 years in progressively senior roles and managing many aspects of bank supervision within the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Fred’s knowledge of enforcement matters, licensing activities, bank capital standards, and safety and soundness examinations is extensive and up to date. Prior to joining Treliant Risk Advisors, Fred’s positions at the OCC included Deputy Comptroller of the Northeastern District and Deputy Comptroller of the Special Supervision unit covering troubled banks. Most recently, Fred has advised investors desiring a national bank charter with which to bid on failed bank assets and deposits offered by the FDIC. He is uniquely qualified to advise bank management and board members on how to prepare for or respond to regulatory examinations in the current environment.

Fred received his BS degree from the University of Nebraska and attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
